4. Engagement & Payment

  • Proposals & Contracts: All services require a signed agreement or written acceptance before commencement.

  • Fees: Unless otherwise stated, all fees are exclusive of VAT (if applicable).

  • Payment Terms: Payment is due as specified in your agreement. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing. Any non-refundable deposits will be specified in the agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Our Content: All intellectual property, including but not limited to designs, copy, graphics, photographs, and strategies created by The Why House remain our property until full payment is received.

  • Client Content: You confirm you have the rights to use any content you provide to us, and you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of delivering the services.

6. Confidentiality

We respect your confidentiality. All client information, documents, and business data will be treated as confidential unless disclosure is required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.

  • Our total liability in connection with our services will not exceed the total fees paid by you for those services.

8. Your Obligations

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information as requested.

  • Communicate openly to allow us to deliver the agreed services effectively.

  • Ensure you have the necessary authority to enter into this agreement.

9. Website Use

Upon termination, any outstanding fees become payable immediately.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on our website and, if relevant, communicated to active clients. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
